You have learnt some question words in Chapter 1 already. There are two more that you have to learn:
1. We will put the word “When” (gei2 si4什麼時候) after the subject in a question. E.g. When do you go to school? Nei5 gei2 si4 faan1 hok6 ? 你什麼時候上學?
2. For “Which” (bin1哪) , we will put it after the subject and verb of a question. When you use “bin1哪”, you have to pay attention to the classifier that the noun belongs to. For example, the question is asking something related to person and we have learnt that the classifier for person is “go3”. So, we have to use “bin1 go3哪(個)” to ask the question. E.g. Which singer do you like? Nei5 zung1 ji3 bin1 go3 go1 sing1? 你喜歡哪個歌星?
